Kétegyháza

Kétegyháza is one of the most significant historical and cultural centres in Békés County, with the Andrássy-Almásy Mansion as one of its main attractions. Built in 1742 in a Baroque-Copf style by the Andrássy family, the mansion was later renovated by Miklós Ybl. Today, it houses an agricultural vocational school and an exhibition of agricultural machinery. The mansion park hosts the Pogácsa Festival annually, which is part of the Kétegyháza Cultural Days. This event attracts both locals and tourists, offering a variety of programmes and traditional dishes. Kétegyháza stands out not only for its rich history but also for its active cultural life.
