Looking for a sales partner (commission-only) – I-DEST sustainable destination platform

About I-DEST
I-DEST is a multilingual digital destination management and sustainability toolkit used by destinations, municipalities/DMOs, and tourism businesses. It aligns with GSTC criteria, supports SDG mapping, and offers dashboards, self-assessment modules, and gamified visitor solutions.

Position
We are seeking a results-driven contract-based sales partner to promote I-DEST domestically and internationally. Your role will involve reaching out to destinations, municipalities, DMOs, and tourism providers, delivering presentations, and securing contracts – on a freelance basis, with commission-only remuneration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a sales pipeline in Hungary and targeted international markets.

  • Needs assessment, tailored demos and proposals; managing the entire sales cycle up to contract signing.

  • Establishing connections with DMOs, municipalities, professional associations, and tourism SMEs.

  • Negotiating contract terms in line with commercial guidelines.

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and forecasts; reporting on KPIs.

  • Representing I-DEST at professional events and webinars (occasional travel required).

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience (experience in the public sector, tourism, SaaS, or sustainability solutions is an advantage).

  • Knowledge of destination management and the tourism ecosystem (DMOs, municipalities, attractions, providers).

  • Excellent English skills; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Confident in product demonstrations, value-based selling, and stakeholder management.

  • Proactive, self-employed mindset (ability to issue invoices), disciplined, and comfortable with remote work.
