Lázár Castle
Located in the heart of Lăzarea, Lázár Castle is one of the most beautiful and significant surviving examples of Transylvanian Renaissance architecture. The fortified castle, with its battlements and four towers, was considered one of the most attractive aristocratic residences of the 17th century. Tradition holds that Gabriel Bethlen, Prince of Transylvania, spent part of his childhood here.
