Korond Snail Hill

On the edge of the Korond Basin, near the picturesque village of Korond, lies Korond Snail Hill (in Romanian, Dealul Melcilor), which holds unique geological treasures. The area is officially a geological nature reserve, designated as protected in 2000, and is currently classified as a locally significant protected area in Harghita County.
