15th From the Danube to the Tisza - Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Semi-Final
Young talents, folk art, and a sense of community from the Carpathian Basin.
The 15th From the Danube to the Tisza Carpathian Basin Youth Festival invites young talents to compete in the categories of folk tales, folk music, folk songs, and folk dance.
The Borsod semi-final will take place on 25 April 2026 at the House of Arts in Miskolc, and the category winners will showcase their skills at the Carpathian Basin final on 27 June.
The aim of the festival is to help young people discover their creativity, connect with our traditions, and experience the power of community.
The event’s patron is Márta Sebestyén, a Kossuth and Liszt Ferenc Award-winning folk singer.
