In 2026, a unique historical spectacle awaits visitors in the city centre of Miskolc: the 700th anniversary of King Louis I’s birth will be commemorated by 700 participants, 140 horses, 70 dogs, and spectacular battle demonstrations showcasing various periods of Hungarian history on 16 May at Szent István Square.
