ALMA Band Concert

The ALMA Band initially performed for adults, but after an accidental invitation, they gave such a successful children's concert that they immediately received several more requests. Before they knew it, they were almost exclusively performing for children. (This is why they say the children chose them.)
Gábor Buda, the founder, frontman, and singer of the ALMA Band, established 30 years ago, has composed songs that boast over 350 million YouTube views.
The band is proud of numerous Fonogram nominations, as well as gold and platinum records.
Their most successful song, "Today Is My Birthday," is the most shared Hungarian content on Facebook.
They have created music for popular animated series like "Berry and Dolly" and composed theme songs for 3D animated films such as "Khumba" and "Manou the Swift."
The band performs 250-300 sold-out concerts annually, both in Hungary and abroad.
Ticket purchase: The programme is free to attend but requires a registration ticket.
Registration tickets can be collected in limited numbers between 24–28 August 2026, from 3 pm to 7 pm at the reception of the House of Arts.
