Hangony Circular Walk - Adventures on the Northern Green Trail

This walking tour takes you through the picturesque landscapes of the Heves-Borsod Hills on a varied route. The hike starts at the Hangony pub, passing Dobra Hill, Golotka Peak, and Barát Peak (389 m), continuing to the Vösdobor measurement tower, Biríň Summit (395 m), and through the Mihályvölgy Saddle to Őz Ridge (386 m) and Pogányvár (390 m). The route returns to the starting point via the Hangony Egres Valley.

The total length of the route is 16.1 km, with an elevation gain and loss of +461 m / -461 m. Be prepared for unmarked sections of the trail, as the Northern Green Trail traverses rarely visited, unmaintained paths, requiring extra attention for navigation.
