Zsuzsa Koncz Concert
Zsuzsa Koncz's jubilee concert celebrates 50 years of 'Jelbeszéd' with classics, new songs, and poems.
You can enjoy the singer's concert on 26 November 2025 at 7 PM at the House of Arts.
One of the special reasons for the concert is that in 1973, exactly fifty years ago, Zsuzsa Koncz's fifth album, 'Jelbeszéd', was released. The album's outstanding songs and its turbulent history – as it was banned shortly after its release – have earned it a unique place in the singer's already remarkably rich body of work. To mark the anniversary, the album was recently re-released in a new, remastered edition with bonus tracks.
Another significant highlight is the concert's title track: 'Jelbeszéd 2.0', a brand-new composition by János Bródy, intended to bridge the legendary past and the present.
As always, the concert programme is shaped by a dual perspective. Songs from recent hit albums – 'Tündérország', 'Vadvilág', 'Szabadnak születtél' – will be performed, along with iconic Koncz hits such as 'Valahol egy lány', 'Kárpáthyék lánya', and 'Ég és föld között'. The programme will also feature poetry, and, of course, the original songs from 'Jelbeszéd' will have their place during the evening.
