Stargazing night hike in the Bükk Mountains
A special evening hike awaits nature and stargazing enthusiasts in the Bükk Mountains.
Participants will set off from Bükkszentkereszt while it is still daylight, heading towards the Kis-dél Hill and arriving at the Jávor Hill Meadow, where they can comfortably settle down to marvel at the night sky. Under favourable weather conditions, the shooting stars of the Perseid meteor shower may also be visible.
The hiking route continues along forest trails towards Miskolc, with an expected arrival around midnight.
Important: As this is a night hike, a headlamp, spare batteries, appropriate hiking shoes or boots, and warm clothing are required. The use of trekking poles is recommended.
