Even a tiny slip of the tongue is enough to derail the most meticulously planned weekend. Carefully constructed plans collapse like a house of cards, quickly turning into a series of misunderstandings, complications, and awkward situations. Because, as they say, too much of a good thing can be overwhelming, and if everyone were to get what they wanted all at once, perhaps no one would truly be happy. It’s better to recognise the truth in time: it’s not always worth trading the familiar path for the unknown.
