The Attic - in Mezőkövesd

The play is set in 1988, during the final years of communism, in an attic in the capital. Here lives the Radio Operator, a cyberneticist who was dismissed from the state centre for attempting to contact extraterrestrials without permission.

One night, four wandering spirits – Kid, Prince, Lantern, and Shover – arrive, having accidentally become stranded on Earth. They are searching for the Ferryman to help them cross to the “Planet of Eternal Beauty.” Meanwhile, Barrabas, a gangster mistaken for the Ferryman, appears, along with Mamóka and the neighbour, a music academy student named Hedgehog, whose charm captivates everyone.
