11th Miskolc Owl Watch

The Bükk Local Group of the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society is organising the 11th Miskolc Owl Watch on Saturday, 21 February 2026, from 13:00 to 17:30 in the glass atrium and park of the Main Building of the University of Miskolc.
The aim of the event is to draw attention to the animals, plants, and fungi observable in human environments, as well as their conservation.
The programme includes a bird ringing demonstration, birdwatching walks, presentations on the bird and amphibian of the year, and, of course, an owl showcase.
Participation is free, but we kindly ask you to bring cash for badge donations, and for safety reasons, please do not bring dogs to the event.
