A peculiar group locked in a parlour: a grieving widow, a lovestruck stepdaughter, a hot-headed officer, and a mentally exhausted clerk. Each of them wants something different, but none of them is willing to compromise. Misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and pride clash, while every spoken word carries increasing weight.
The tension is eased – or perhaps heightened – by a bit of vodka, and suddenly everyone becomes too honest. The humour is sharp, the situations absurd, yet deeply human. This world is both laugh-out-loud funny and uncomfortably familiar: where the greatest drama often hinges on a single uttered “yes.”
