A magical adventure for children and families in Santa's enchanting, fairytale Kingdom.
Between 26 November and 13 December, festive magic returns to the Bükk: the Diósgyőr Santa Train sets off once again!
Departing from the Dorottya Street terminal in Miskolc, the festively decorated narrow-gauge train takes families through the winter landscapes of the Bükk to Lillafüred, where a true Fairytale Kingdom awaits them.
Visitors will be greeted by a magical forest of lights, spectacular decorations, and two interactive fairy-tale performances. This year, two special fairy-tale worlds come to life: the characters of Encanto highlight the importance of family and togetherness, while Fred and Barney's cheerful Stone Age adventures bring smiles to the faces of both young and old alike.
This event, with a tradition spanning over twenty years, is much more than a festive train ride. The highlight of the programme is a personal meeting with Santa, but guests can also enjoy winter treats, musical and dance performances, and a lively platform party. One of last year’s favourites, the dancing tiger, is back this year with its very own platform party.
The organisers have also thought of the little ones: new baby-friendly services make the visit even more comfortable. This year, the Diósgyőr Santa Train offers an unforgettable winter fairy-tale experience, where the whole family can get into the festive spirit together.
