The year kicks off with an inspiring concert showcasing the most beautiful, well-known, and lesser-known gems of the gospel genre. Following African-American musical traditions, Reverend Dwight Robson and his exceptional soloists bring the message of the gospel to the stage.
During this uplifting musical evening, iconic songs such as "Hallelujah" and "Oh, Happy Day" will resonate, alongside many other special, heartfelt global hits reimagined in a fresh way during the nearly two-hour programme.
The performing group, The Golden Voices of Gospel, is not only one of the most authentic representatives of the genre but has also collaborated with global superstars like Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Tina Turner. Their performances consistently guarantee a captivating experience and outstanding musical quality.
The word "gospel" itself means "good news" – this genre has its roots in American religious songs, spirituals, and the voices of freedom and hope from African-American communities. Its rhythmic, dynamic style continues to influence the biggest names in pop music today, including Beyoncé and Stevie Wonder.
