Excursion Train to Mahóca

Fancy a special day out in nature, combining a train ride with a hike? Join the Lillafüred State Forest Railway's special service on Saturday, 23 August 2025, and take part in the excursion train programme heading to Mahóca! In the stunning forest setting, there’s plenty to enjoy: have a picnic in nature, take a stroll to the picturesque Varbó Lake, hike as far as Lillafüred, or explore the surroundings of Farkasgödör.
Train departures:
From Miskolc-Dorottya Street: 9:30 and 13:15
From Mahóca: 11:30, 15:00, 17:00
Please note that prior registration is required to participate in the programme, during which you must provide the number of participants and your chosen train departure times. You can register via kisvasut@eszakerdo.hu or by calling +36 30 874 7983 on weekdays between 8:00 and 16:00.
