Expano is an interactive experience park by Lake Soboško, offering visitors a modern and engaging way to discover Pomurje, its nature, culture, traditions, and tourist attractions. Visitors explore the region through various multimedia content, games, and interactive displays.
Murska Sobota Gallery is the central fine arts institution in Pomurje, dedicated to preserving, safeguarding, researching, showcasing, and promoting the artistic heritage of the 20th and 21st centuries in Pomurje and the broader Slovenian region. It also organises temporary exhibitions of Slovenian and international contemporary artists. Alongside the exhibitions, we offer a diverse range of educational and adult learning programmes.
The Pomurje Museum Murska Sobota is the central regional museum of Pomurje, located in a Renaissance castle from the 16th century in the heart of Murska Sobota. A highlight of the museum is the permanent exhibition People Along the Mura, which takes visitors on a journey from prehistory to modern times through archaeological finds, medieval art, the life of the nobility, the development of towns and countryside, and the era of both world wars. The museum shop offers souvenirs and publications.
