Cycling tour to the Pacsmag bird paradise
Discover the stunning diversity of wildlife at the Pacsmag Lakes on a guided nature cycling tour! The Pacsmag Lakes Nature Reserve is located between Tamási and Regöly, in the meandering valley of the Koppány Stream – a mosaic wetland habitat of both national and international conservation significance. The area is listed under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international importance. During the tour, with the help of an expert guide, you can explore the birdlife of the reeds, marshes, and lakes. You may observe dozens of bird species in the area – including rarities such as the spoonbill, purple heron, and black-winged stilt. Bird hides and informational boards along the nature trail enhance the experience, allowing you to quietly connect with the rhythm of nature. The tour offers a fantastic opportunity to get closer to natural treasures and understand why it is important to preserve these habitats. The programme promotes sustainable tourism and contributes to the conservation of local natural heritage.

- Starting point: Tamási DámPont Visitor Centre (7090 Tamási, Hársfa Street 92)
- Meeting time: 15 minutes before departure.
- Tour guide: Ferenc Farkas, President of Tamási BringaSport
- Group size limit: Tours require a minimum of 6 participants to start.
- Bicycle sizes: Our e-bikes are available in sizes from S to XL. If you wish to rent a bike for the tour, please provide your height during registration so we can ensure the most suitable e-bike size for you!
Registration conditions and important information
- Pre-registration: Please register for the event no later than 4:00 PM on the day before the tour!
- Participation fee: Up to 14 years: 1200 HUF, over 14 years: 2000 HUF
If you wish to rent an e-bike from DámPont, the above rental conditions apply. - Recommended equipment: Comfortable sportswear, weather-appropriate clothing, drinking water, and possibly a small backpack. Use of a cycling helmet is mandatory.
- Liability: Participation in the tour is at your own risk. Minors may only participate if accompanied by an adult.
