Special Extended Tour
Special extended tour in the St. Stephen's Cave: visit the Black Hall and the Torda Gorge, which are not accessible on regular tours.
The Directorate of the Bükk National Park is organising a special extended tour in the highly protected St. Stephen's Cave. As part of the organised programmes, visitors will be shown parts of the spectacular stalactite cave that are not usually accessible during regular tours. These rarely seen areas include the Black Hall and the Torda Gorge.
The extended tour lasts approximately 50 minutes, and visitors can reach the stalactite-rich Torda Gorge by climbing an additional 76 steps beyond the regular tour stairs, accompanied by our guide. In the Black Hall, you can breathe the purest air, as the cave air here is almost sterile from a microbiological perspective, meaning it is free from dust, germs, and allergens, making it medically beneficial.
No special equipment is required for the visit, as the cave maintains a constant temperature of +10 degrees Celsius.
Tickets can only be purchased online only , as there are no on-site sales!
