Gyergyószentmiklós

Gyergyószentmiklós (in Romanian Gheorgheni) is located in the northern part of Harghita County, in the Gyergyó Basin, at an altitude of 810 metres above sea level. The town lies in a picturesque setting, embraced by the Eastern Carpathians, and serves as an important transport hub for tourists heading towards Lake Red, the Bicaz Gorge, and the Bucsin Pass.
