Lendava

The easternmost Slovenian town hides numerous attractions. Small Lendava is a great symbol of coexistence and diversity, culture and gastronomy. It is equidistant from Ljubljana, Budapest, Zagreb, and Vienna and is considered a cultural hub where the Slovenian, Hungarian, Croatian, and Roma communities live in harmony. Add to this the reputation for excellent wines, the capital of bograč, and a place where you can relax your body and mind in thermal spas, and the list of reasons to visit and experience Lendava only grows. Lendava's greatest asset is its diversity, which you can feel at every step, along with the rich cultural heritage and history of the town, as evidenced by the stories of the town centre. Take a walk along the wine road, the easternmost in Slovenia, dotted with wine cellars offering stunning views of the landscape. Surrounded by green fields and beautiful nature, Lendava is also an excellent destination for active holidaymakers. Cycling and hiking are popular activities in this area, with numerous trails and paths perfect for adventurous exploration of the town and its surroundings. The local culinary offerings impress with a wide range of dishes that tell the gastronomic story of the region, with bograč undoubtedly being one of the most recognisable dishes. Welcome to our town!
