Edible Forest Szeleta Express Gastro Train
Discover the edible treasures of the Bükk on a special narrow-gauge train tour starting from Szeleta Park, guided by experts and featuring tastings.
On this wild plant foraging tour, participants can explore the hidden edible treasures of the Bükk starting from the Szeleta Park Visitor Centre in Miskolc – all under the guidance of skilled experts, spiced up with a touch of forest stand-up comedy.
This programme promises a true gastronomic adventure: the unique forest train makes several stops where participants can learn the secrets of gathering wild vegetables, fruits, and mushrooms, as well as their culinary uses.
The professional guidance is provided by two experienced experts, including Gyula Bózsó, a certified forest engineer, forest "food scout," mushroom inspector, and edible wild plant specialist – author of the book "The Forest is Delicious".
