This tour is considered moderately challenging in terms of both distance and elevation. Its varied route combines stabilised vineyard paths, charming forest sections, well-constructed cycle paths, and low-traffic roads.

The tour starts from Mád heading east, then winds around the famous Király vineyard via a beautiful forest road in the Fürdő-patak valley. On this section, you’ll reach the highest point of the route, offering the most stunning panorama of the area. From here, you descend past the Wine Lake to the cycle path leading to Mezőzombor – take care to cross the roundabout safely!

Cycling through Mezőzombor, you’ll arrive in Szerencs via a built cycle path. The route passes directly by Szerencs Castle and its surroundings: if you haven’t been here before, it’s worth stopping and taking a stroll among the historic walls, even if you have to push your bike.

From Szerencs, you’ll reach the Ond district via a cycle path. Passing through Ond, you’ll continue on the main road until the point where the road takes a big turn towards Rátka. Here, you’ll turn left and head towards the Angyal Winery. After passing the winery, you’ll ride on gravel and then high-quality asphalt roads into Tállya. Upon entering the village, you’ll cycle up to Rákóczi Street, where turning right will soon bring you to the centre of Tállya.

After the centre, turn left into Árpád Square, where you’ll continue your journey along the scenic Panorama trail for about 3 kilometres. From here, you’ll turn off and pass by the picturesque Mádi Lake, returning to Mád, where you can comfortably roll down to the Borbringa centre.

Weather: Thanks to the quality of the surface, the tour can be comfortably completed even in light rain or drizzle.
Safety: The route crosses main roads at several points – including sections outside built-up areas. Always exercise extra caution at these junctions!
