Happy Easter Holidays - Comedy

From a romantic adventure to a spiral of lies.

The story unfolds in one of the elegant districts of modern-day Paris.

One of the biggest French film successes of 1984 was born from the screenplay by Jean Poiret and Georges Lautner, featuring unforgettable performances by Sophie Marceau and Jean-Paul Belmondo. The plot takes place during the Easter holidays, when Stéphane Margelle, a successful industrialist, enjoys the comforts of Parisian life with his beautiful wife, Sophie. Stéphane is a true Casanova: his charm is irresistible, and women easily succumb to him. Everything seems perfect, and life flows smoothly until the moment he unexpectedly encounters an 18-year-old girl after a farewell at the airport. They spend magical evenings together – dining at restaurants, visiting night bars, and eventually continuing their acquaintance at his apartment. However, the seemingly idyllic situation is suddenly overshadowed: his wife's flight is cancelled, and when she returns home, she is surprised to find her husband in the company of the young woman. In a tight spot, Stéphane resorts to a bold lie: the girl Sophie saw is none other than his daughter...
