This tour is a true "introductory" circular route, making it a perfect choice if you're trying e-bike cycling for the first time or want to take a relaxed pace to explore the charm and terrain of the wine region. The distance and elevation are manageable for almost anyone, but the varied terrain and unpaved sections require confident and safe bike handling.

From Mád, we head south towards the train station. Following the edge of the village and the railway line, we reach the quiet, paved agricultural road leading to Rátka, passing under Isten Hill. This road takes us comfortably into the charming centre of Rátka, where a short break is highly recommended.

From Rátka, we cycle on a low-traffic road to Tállya. Along the way, we cross the main road 39, where extra caution is required! Tállya is one of the most historically rich settlements in the Tokaj wine region, boasting numerous architectural heritage sites and traditional wineries.

From Árpád Square in Tállya, we follow the signposted Panorama trail back towards Mád. After approximately 4 kilometres, we turn off towards the picturesque Mádi Lake, passing by the lake before returning to the starting point in Mád.

Practical information:

Road surface and weather: The route includes two short sections on unpaved roads. Therefore, it is not recommended during very muddy or rainy periods, but it remains safely passable in light rain or drizzle.
