The central theme of the Bükk Star Observatory's exhibition is the Sun. In addition to its life-giving influence on Earth, the exhibition also showcases star types, the life of stars, and the invisible characteristics of our Sun. Visitors can touch Hungary's unparalleled meteorite collection and examine their structure using a special microscope. Under the world's largest mass-produced astronomical dome lies the facility's main instrument, a 61 cm diameter Corrected Dall-Kirkham astrograph. While primarily designed for astrophotography, the telescope is also excellent for visual observations. In the planetarium, offering a unique experience in Central Europe, the wonders of the night sky are displayed on an 8-metre diameter special dome!

In the VR room and on the VR platforms in the foyer, modern technology is employed to enhance the experience, including a dragon flight simulation where you can enjoy a 360-degree view over the Bükk.

On the 4-kilometre-long Planetary Tour nature trail connected to the Bükk Star Observatory, you can discover the area's natural, geological, and cultural heritage.
