  • Tap Water Advocate Where tap water is drinkable, every glass filled from the tap means one less bottle of waste. Ask the provider if the tap water is safe to drink or if filtered water is available – and choose this instead of bottled water.
  • Pedestrian Adventurer The slowest journey is the richest. Walk to the city centre, the market, or the nearby viewpoint – anything within half an hour to an hour is accessible on foot. Along the way, you'll notice details (small shops, gardens, people) that you'd never see from a car or bus window.
  • Cycling Explorer On two wheels, you can take in every scent, sound, and detail that a driver would miss. Hop on the provider's bike and explore the area at a pace that's slow enough for observation and fast enough for adventure.
  • Story Finder The soul of a place lies in the stories of its people, not in the loudspeakers of tourist buses. Book a locally guided tour and listen as a place comes to life.
  • Bird-Friendly Birds are sensitive indicators of the environment – where they thrive, nature flourishes too. Join a birdwatching walk, take your binoculars on a hike, or sit quietly on the terrace at dawn – in just one morning, you might hear 10-15 species in a rich habitat.
  • Friend of Pollinators Every third bite we eat is thanks to a pollinating insect – bees, butterflies, bumblebees. Take a walk through the service provider's bee pasture or wildflower meadow instead of a perfectly manicured lawn, and observe how much life buzzes in such a seemingly 'messy' green space.
  • Animal-friendly guest Whether you arrive with your own dog or observe the local wildlife, the same respect applies: calmness, keeping your distance, and refraining from feeding (where it's not recommended). Animals can sense who their friends are.
  • Bottle Hero A single reusable bottle can replace 20-25 disposable ones in just a week. Refill it at the provider's drinking water tap or refill station as often as you get thirsty – by the end of a week-long holiday, the difference in the bin will be noticeable.
  • Switch Off Turning off a single light won't save the world, but ten thousand might. When you close the door behind you for the last time, turn off the lights, the air conditioning, and the TV – the community will take care of the rest.
