Among the thermal springs in the lake, the coldest is 36°C, while the warmest reaches 47°C. Gases continuously bubble to the surface from the lake. The warm water is a perfect habitat for frogs, colourful fish, and water lilies. The island in the lake has been named the 'Island of Love', as legend has it that couples who visit together will never part.
