The DVTK Arena is the newest and most modern multifunctional facility in the city of Miskolc. As a result of several supported investments coming together, it was inaugurated in October 2021 with the aim and hope of becoming an impressive sports and event venue filling a gap in Eastern Hungary. Over the past two years, it has come to life. It has become the home of the DVTK professional women's basketball team, DVTK HUN-Therm, as well as its youth basketball teams. The first-division volleyball team also trains and competes here, while athletics, table tennis, rhythmic gymnastics have moved in, and members of the kayaking-canoeing and cycling divisions are regular visitors to the well-equipped gym. Thanks to the equipment of the arena, it hosted the EuroLeague qualifiers in autumn 2022, followed by the European Championship qualifiers in February 2023. In 2024, it was also the venue for the major youth competition, the U16 European Championship. Beyond providing opportunities for the various branches of the DVTK family to host their own events, all rooms in the Arena are available for hire. In the short time since its opening, it has hosted several highly successful concerts, corporate and sports events, numerous cultural programmes, celebrations, and conferences.
